Needed: $500
I now need $1,000 in order to have top surgery. If I can get said money by early March, my spring break and 21st birthday will consist of sleeping in extremely uncomfortable upright positions whilst letting my chest heal as I treat myself to cookies, grapes, and juice.
My planned deadline is March 11th. That gives me just under six weeks. It’s possible. I know it is. It’s just a matter of figuring out how to pull it off. I know I can save at least $500 on my own. It would be more but there’s this thing called rent. Sigh. Still. I can do this.
At this point I don’t mind asking for help. I’ve been called stupid for not asking, actually. I’ve struggled to save $5000 on my own in just over a year. Asking for help with a few hundred won’t be the death of me. And, if possible, I’d really like to pay anyone who donates back once I get back on my feet. So, for those who may have an extra penny lying around and want to be nice to me—here’s my Chip-In account.
I’m also looking for odd jobs to do. I’m willing to attempt anything that:
- isn’t sexual in nature
- doesn’t require the removal of clothing and subsequent gyrating of body parts
- isn’t potentially life threatening
I’ve already started contacting people about writing essays or other articles, since it’s something I’m good at. And I’ve looked ointo selling my blood/plasma, though I’m likely to be rejected for that due to a pre-existing medical condition.
So close, yet so far. Any ideas?
